The Hilton Atlanta Downtown Hotel is offering a limited number of discounted rooms to 2017 EcoDistricts Summit attendees. The Hilton is located just 1/2 mile from our main Summit venues. The room block is available for Oct. 7 - Oct. 14, 2017. Regular and government rates are available. We encourage attendees to make their hotel reservations early to take advantage of these rates. The room block is available until September 9, 2017, or until all discounted rooms are booked. Rates do not include taxes. Subject to Availability. Georgia State University, an enterprising urban public research university, is a national leader in graduating students from widely diverse backgrounds. Day 1 of Summit 2017 will take place at GSU's Student Center East Building (ADA accessible).
Georgia State has three green certified buildings on campus, and sustainability initiatives include a Green Space Task Force exploring the feasibility and advocate for creating new greenspace and increasing tree canopy on campus.
Day 2: Loudermilk Conference Center

The Loudermilk Conference Center is in the heart of downtown Atlanta, and is conveniently located along the street car line. It was developed as a center for community building, and a home for civic minded work to be done. Loudermilk proudly supports nonprofits with programming and events.
Airport to Hilton (30 min train ride)
Follow signs to baggage claim. Enter the Rail Station from the North or South Terminal. The last baggage claim carousel will be in front of the Rail Station entrance. Inside the Rail Station you can buy a Breeze Card at a vending machine. The Breeze Card can hold one-way fare or day fares with the option of unlimited rides for that day only. All departing trains travel northbound to downtown and midtown Atlanta. Exit the train at Peachtree Center Transit Station. Walk down Ellis St NE, and follow the one-way traffic. At Courtland St NE, turn left and walk against the one-way traffic for 2 blocks and you will reach the Hilton. Cost of Breeze Card is $1. Cost of one-way trip is $2.50.
Hilton to Georgia State University: Student Center East building (15 min walk)
Upon exiting the Hilton, turn left and follow the one-way traffic down Courtland St NE. Walk down 6 blocks and make a right at Gilmer St SE. Walk down half a block and the Student Center East building will be to your right.
Hilton to Studio No 7 (20 min walk)
Upon exiting the Hilton, turn right and walk towards Baker St NE. Turn left at Baker St NE and walk 7 blocks. You will pass by the World of Coca Cola Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Olympic Park. When reaching Marietta St NW, turn right and walk 2 blocks. Studio No 7 will be to your right. If you reach Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW, you’ve gone half a block too far.
Hilton to Loudermilk Conference Center (10 min walk)
Upon exiting the Hilton, turn left and follow the one-way traffic down Courtland St NE. Walk down 4 blocks and make a right half a block after passing Auburn Ave NE. The Loudermilk Conference Center will be to your right.
